Correction of protruding ears
Correction of prominent/protruding ears helps to bend ears back towards the head. This surgery is often done before the school, at the age of 6, but also at a later age and adulthood.
An incision is performed on the back of the auricle surface. Surgery involves both face and auricle cartilage plasticity.
Post-operative bruises usually remain for 2-3 weeks. Physical activity shall be avoided for 1 month.
The final result of the surgery is visible after 6-12 months.
